LAMBERTVILLE, N.J. – The Kalmia Club is looking for volunteers to help with sprucing up Mary Sheridan Park which is adjacent to the clubhouse at 39 York Street. Set for Sunday, May 7, the fun begins at 11 a.m. Pinecones are plentiful and free for the taking. Tasks include raking, planting flower bulbs and general garden clean-up. New York City’s Bryant Park is once again generously donating bulbs from its spring gardens to be planted in Lambertville’s historic park. Bring your garden gloves and rakes and join the Kalmia gals in helping to beautify the community.
The Kalmia Club’s Annual Meeting and Craft Night will take place on Monday, May 8, 2006 at 7:15 p.m., at the Kalmia Club, 39 York Street, Lambertville. In addition to addressing annual business, members will have an evening to get organized. Members are encouraged to bring photos from home along with scrapbooks and photo albums and other organizing materials as we learn from one another tips and techniques to getting those memories under control.
