TASTE OF LAMBERTVILLE OFFERS CITY’S CULINARY TREASURES UNDER ONE ROOF

On Friday, November 10 the Lambertville Area Chamber of Commerce will offer residents and visitors a rare opportunity to sample the best of the city’s food, wine, entertainment and shopping at the annual “A Taste of Lambertville” gala. This year’s gala will be held from 6-9 p.m. at Zanya Spa/Salon in the historic Lace Works at 287 South Main Street.

A variety of the area’s unique culinary delights will be available under one roof. The gastronomic get together will include:
Filet Mignon on Crostini by Lambertville Station
Pumpkin Cannelloni with Sage Alfredo Sauce by Ricks
Shrimp Crepes with Horseradish Drizzle by 49 N. Main
Crabcakes by Giuseppe’s Ristorante
Seafood Pasta Salad by Andiamo
Wild Mushroom In A Cream Sauce Over Chicken by Full Moon
Meat Loaf With Sundried Tomatoes, Provolone & Capers by Deanna’s
Andioulle Ettoufee Served With Corn by Inn of the Hawk
Roasted Suckling Pig With French Fries By The Hamilton Grill
Tuna Tartar by Bell’s Tavern
Shrimp Cocktail and Crab Craw Legs by Milford Fish House
A Surprise Dish from No. 9 Restaurant

In addition a sampling appetizer tray will be provided by the Homestead Market. Complementary wine and beer will be served by Welsh’s and Walker’s. The Triumph Brewery will be offering their award winning micro beer and a complimentary dish. Pastries will be served by Baker’s Treat along with award winning fresh roasted coffee from Rojo’s. There will be chocolate treats served up by The Chocolate Box of Lambertville. Musical entertainment will be provided by The New Hope Collective Acoustic Jazz Unit.

Tickets are $45 per person and available at Zanya’s (287 South Main Street), Dresswell’s (10 Bridge Street), Sojourner (26 Bridge Street) and No. 63 (10 North Union Street) in Lambertville or by calling 609-397-0055.

DOWNTOWN DOGGIE MANNERS CLASS TO BE HELD FOR PUPPY PARTICIPANTS IN LAMBERTVILLE PET MASQUERADE

Lambertville, NJ On Wednesday, October 11, at 11a.m. the Lambertville Area Chamber of Commerce and Picky Paws will hold a special class in Doggie Manners for pooch participants in the city¹s second annual A Pet Masquerade.

The class will be held at Picky Paws; 1 Church Street in Lambertville. The masquerade to be held on Saturday, October 14 will be the highlight of the October Second Saturday in Lambertville.

The dogs, clad in costumes will study a curriculum including:

* Mastering the ³Place² command
* Paying Attention To Your Owner
* Mastering the ³come² command

³Professor² Susie Danzis, owner of Training Tails Dog Training in Doylestown, will teach the course. Ms. Danzis, a Certified Dog Trainer and Behavior Therapist conducts In-Home Behavior Consultations and has been involved in Agility Training and Pet Therapy Programs. She will be accompanied by her Golden Retriever ³Bucky² who is a Canine Good Citizen and AKC Companion Dog Title winner.

Upon completion, the pooch prodigies will step forward to ³Pomp & Circumstance² to receive their Doctorates in Downtown Doggie Manners.
